The 5‑second test: why most SME websites don’t generate enquiries

If a visitor cannot tell what you do, who it is for, and what to do next in 5 seconds, you are leaking revenue in Windhoek and beyond.

Most SME websites fail for one reason: they make the visitor work too hard. The buyer lands, sees a slogan, a stock image, and vague claims, and leaves.

Your homepage must answer three questions immediately: what do you sell, who is it for, and what should I do next?

Fix the message first. Then build the page around a single primary call-to-action such as booking a call, requesting a quote, or sending a WhatsApp message. One page, one job.

Finally, prove it. Show real work, real outcomes, and a clear process. If you cannot publish metrics, publish what you did and what changed, and be honest about what is still pending approval.

If you want a fast teardown of your current site, request one and we will tell you the biggest conversion blockers.
